Talk about playing it close. With CBS set to announce its fall line-up at its upfront presentation on Wednesday, Charlie Sheen struck a new deal with Warner Bros. to continue with the network’s hit comedy "Two and a Half Men" for an additional two years, TMZ.com reports. 

While Sheen initially had sought $2 million per episode, Warner Bros. offered much less than that figure. The new contract will give him more than seven figures per episode, making him one of the most highly paid stars in television history, the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker blog reports.  

While the show ranks as CBS’ top-rated comedy and anchors its Monday line-up at 9 p.m., it’s possible the network may announce the show is moving to Wednesday as it seeks to create a second night of comedies, the article says
