The CW announced today that it would renewing "One Tree Hill" and "Life Unexpected," and ordering two new dramas, "Nikita" and "Hellcats."

"One Tree Hill" is coming back for an eighth season, while "Life Unexpected" will be a sophomore.

Of the new shows, "Nikita" stars Maggie Q as a government assassin who goes rogue. "Hellcats" is the story of a pre-law student whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive cheerleading squad.

Aly Michalka stars in "Hellcats."

  1. I’ll never quite forgive the CW for getting rid of Reaper, and continuing to renew crap like OTH, so I think I’ll be staying far away from them from now on.

  2. This is good info! Where else can if ind out more?? Who runs this joint too? Keep up the good work 🙂
