‘Grey’s’ Finale Leads to Thursday Win for ABC

A two-hour season finale of "Grey’s Anatomy" was a ratings winner for ABC Thursday night, averaging a 5.35 in the 18-49 demo, reports TVbythenumbers.com.

At 8 p.m., Fox’s "Bones" season finale averaged a 2.8, over NBC’s "Community" finale with a 2.0 and "Parks & Recreations" with a 2.1. ABC’s finale of "FlashForward" managed a 1.6 for the hour.

"Grey’s Anatomy’s" first hour, from 9 p.m.-10 p.m., logged a 4.5 and 5.2 for each half-hour. The finale of "CSI" on CBS scored a 3.25 average, while NBC’s finales of "The Office" and "30 Rock" had a 3.4 and a 2.8, respectively. Fox’s "Fringe" finale netted a 2.05 average.

The 10 p.m. hour was soundly won by the last hour of "Grey’s" with a 5.5 and 6.2 in the 18-49 demo. The season finale of CBS’ "The Mentalist" averaged a 3.15, better than the finale of NBC’s "The Marriage Ref" with a 2.05 average.
