Report: NBC’s Reboot of ‘Rockford Files’ Not So Good

May 13, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Dermot Mulroney and Beau Bridges sounds like great casting for the remake of "The Rockford Files" that NBC was anticipating for the fall season, but the word is out that the pilot’s a dud, Josef Adalian reports at New York Magazine.

Produced by "House" creator David Shore and "The Office’s" Steve Carell, the remake as filmed is not expected to be good enough to be included in next week’s NBC Upfront. The only option for the producers is to re-shoot the pilot and convince NBC to stick with it, sight unseen.

  1. It’s a shame Castle has been renewed for next season…Nathan Fillian would make a great Rockford.

  2. I think that David Boreanaz from Bones would have also made a great Jim Rockford.

  3. It’s good to discover this information in a person’s post, i was looking the same but there was n’t any proper resource, thanx now we have the link which i was looking for my analysis……
