With the Upfront marketplace quickly approaching, Bill Abbott, the President and CEO of the Hallmark Channels, tells TVWeek about the changes he’s made since his appointment, particularly the on-going transformation of The Hallmark Channel into a "destination for  lifestyle and home-oriented programming."

Having come up on the advertising sales side of the business, Abbott brings a refreshing perspective to his outlook for Hallmark.

One of his major initiatives has been a landmark partnership with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
