Once upon a time, the British detective show "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)" was a UK sensation and now Syfy has acquire the rights from ITV Studios, Inc. to create a new program based on the material.

"Scrubs’" Josh Bycel and "American Dad’s" Jonathan Fener are creating the pilot and will executive produce the one-hour drama.

The plot of the show involves Hopkirk, a detective, is killed while on the job and comes back as a ghost to continue fighting crime with his partner, Randall. Like "Topper," only Randall can see the ghost.

According to Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Programming for Syfy, the new show will be a buddy-cop show with a twist. "We look forward to working with [Josh and Jonathan]…to bring new life to this British classic."

  1. Great post!

  2. I know there is no secret bullet to it, but if you could give only one advice, what would it be? What is the most imoprtant thing you learned over the past?

  3. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  4. Keep focusing on your blog. I love how we can all express our feelings. This is an extremely nice blog here 🙂
