Verizon announced today that it will carry the YES network’s 3D broadcasts of two New York Yankees games — versus the Seattle Mariners on July 10 and 11 — reports B&C.
This will be the first terrestrial multichannel operator to carry the 3D games. DirecTV and set-maker Panasonic are sponsoring the broadcast.
FiOS TV customers who have 3D TV sets and live in the New York metropolitan area will be able to see YES’ 3D telecasts via Verizon.
