ABC did OK with the second installment of "Wipeout" in Thursday night’s Nielsen ratings, but the network’s two new serious shows–"Rookie Blue" and "Boston Med"–failed to generate much of a buzz, according to TVbytheNumbers.com.

At 8 p.m., "Wipeout" was the top show with a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic for the hour, up against NBC’s "100 Questions" at 8:30 with 0.6 in the demo.

Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance" was the strongest show at 9 p.m. with a 2.4 in the 18-49 demo, while ABC’s premiere of "Rookie Blue" collected a 2.0 in the demo for the hour.

At ten, ABC’s documentary series "Boston Med" premiered with a 1.3 in the 18-49 demo.
