The return of ABC’s summer game show "Wipeout" delivered a knockout in the Nielsen ratings Tuesday night, according to TVbytheNumbers.com.

For the 8 p.m. hour, the program had 2.9 and 3.3 half-hour ratings in the 18-49 demographic, ahead of Fox’s first hour of "Hell’s Kitchen," which had a 2.6 and a 2.8. NBC’s "Losing It" collected 1.1 and 1.2 ratings for the top and bottom of the hour.

At 9 p.m., "Hell’s Kitchen" climbed to a 3.0 for the hour in the 18-49 demo, while NBC’s "America’s Got Talent" garnered a 2.7 and 3.2 for the two
half-hours. ABC’s new game show "Downfall" had a 2.2 and 1.8 in the demo.

From 10-11 p.m., the second hour of "America’s Got Talent" averaged a 3.7 for the hour in the demo, while the premiere of ABC’s "Primetime: Mind Games" earned a 1.3.
