New Jersey’s upcoming suspension of the film and TV production tax credit has already had an impact on the state, as a high-profile production is moving out of state, reports Deadline.com.

NBC’s "Law & Order: SVU" will depart from its production facility in Bergen County, according to the report. The Dick Wolf production will go across the river and secure a studio in New York state.

The production reportedly could not afford losing a 20% tax incentive.
