If Twitter has the kind of power some think it does, one of the actors in the running for Sony’s big screen reboot of "Spider-Man" is "Community" star Donald Glover, reports The Wrap.
Glover, who’s African-American and plays Troy on the NBC sitcom, is being drafted via Twitter as a viable choice for the role of Peter Parker.
The campaign has been climbing in popularity and spread to Facebook, too. Glover is actively involved in the campaign, having Twitted, "I don’t want to just be given the role. I want to be able to audition. I truly love Spider-Man."
