Kritsen Stewart, the 20-year-old star of the enormously popular "Twilight" movies, has appologized for saying that the scrutiny of being on the Red Carpet feels like rape.
She has told People, "I really made an enormous mistake – clearly and obviously. And I’m really sorry about my choice of words."
Referring to the comments Stewart made to the British edition of Elle magazine, the People article says, "In an offending quote, Twilight saga star Kristen Stewart compared paparazzi photos of herself to images of a woman being raped. Almost immediately, everyone from fans to spokespeople for rape victims’ advocacy organizations were publicly criticizing the actress."
