An updated lawsuit from fired "Desperate Housewives" actress Nicollette Sheridan alleges that ABC dismissed her assault claim against series creator Marc Cherry by calling it "a light tap on the side of the head," the Hollywood Reporter’s THR, Esq. blog reports.

The lawsuit has been updated with two paragraphs that added detail about ABC’s alleged response to the incident when Sheridan reported it, the article states. It’s unclear why her lawyers added the paragraphs that explain that ABC looked into the charge and allegedly found it meritless. Her lawyers didn’t respond to requests for comment, the story says.

The updated lawsuit alleges that "Executive Vice President of ABC Studios, Howard Davine, claimed that "Marc [Cherry] simply gave her a light tap on the side of her head for the sole purpose of providing direction for a scene they were rehearsing."

  1. We absolutely need somebody to look up to and glamorize ; I don’t . Those who find themselves renowned for being famous fill up too much space in our lives and are also way too overpayed.

  2. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  3. If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
