20th TV is in preliminary discussions with a major cable network about the drama "Breakout Kings" from 20th and Chernin Entertainment, reports Nellie Andreeva on Deadline.com.
The cable network is A&E. The pilot, about U.S. marshals and convicts who work against the clock to recapture escaped prisoners, had been one of the top three hourlong pilots for Fox Broadcasting, but was cut when the broadcast network opted for "Lonestar" and "Ride-Along." 20th, which produced the pilot with Chernin Entertainment, then sent out the pilot to other broadcast and cable networks.
Design on this blog is DAMN GOOD. I like it.
