Rosie in Talks With NBC for New Talk Show

Jun 28, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Rosie O’Donnell is negotiating with NBC to have her new talk show aired on the Peacock Network’s owned and operated stations, Gossip Cop reports.

The information comes from the same reliable source who told Gossip Cop exclusively in March that O’Donnell had signed a production deal for a new daytime program.

The show is due to launch in the fall of 2011, and will be produced by Robert F. Kennedy’s documentary filmmaking daughter, Rory Kennedy, along with TV veterans Dick Robertson and Scott Carlin.

But there’s one sticking point, says the inside source.

“NBC wants an out if she implodes like she did on ‘The View,’” the source said.

  1. Please do not waste the air waves for such an idiot.

  2. The best predictor of the future is the past. Remember that she was a “truther” and during commerical breaks of her latest show Rosie lectured the audience about how the 911 attacks were a government conspiracy.

  3. Well, clearly nothing has changed at NBC. They’re willing to sell their stations down the river with bad programming deals–still! You’ve got to love those GE programming experts!

  4. Amazing freakin blog here. I almost cried while reading it!
