The show is the June 21 edition of CNN’s "Larry King Live," which will be a special two-hour telethon called "Disaster In the Gulf: How You Can Help," a fundraiser from 8-10 p.m. ET, the network announced.

The funds raised by the telethon will be distributed to United Way, The National Wildlife Federation and The Nature Conservancy, organizations working directly with the families, individuals and wildlife affected by the Gulf oil spill.

Wendy Walker, senior executive producer of "Larry King Live," said in a statement, “The Gulf oil spill is a disaster both national and natural in scope, and the point of this effort is to get immediate relief to the people and wildlife who are in urgent need. The telethon’s proceeds go directly to the relief organizations who are working on the front lines to do just that.”

  1. Their time should be spent making BP pay for their willful incompetence and resulting damage, and locking up those execs that cut safety measures to save coin.

  2. Only person who I agree politically on that list is Ivanka Trump. I don’t have much else to say. On Fox News a panel of celebs said they reason why celebs in Hollywood seem to all lean left is because the ones who are rabidly left are the most outspoken. Fine, but at least there are a few who aren’t rabidly left. And at least those on the left are finally doing something. But it is too little too late. Sadly, even the country singers who might seem right wingers lean left so at times it is hard to tell. Personally I am centrist, not a moderate nor a RINO or a Liberal. I Lean to the right, also sometimes agreed with the left, but not much in recent years.

  3. I can’t believe how shadyBP has been with this situation. They needed to be more honest with the public about what happened and how difficult it was going to be to fix the pipe. Im very overjoyed that the leak has been stopped.

  4. Did you hear Bieber Wants Soccer Lessons From David Beckham? That’s crazy to think about. lol

  5. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  6. hi,
what is your opinion for Wayne Rooney
Will he really leave Old Trafford?
because there is now speculation that the 24 year-old could be on the move. It really wouldn’t surprise me if he did move on after all that’s gone on. However it would need to be abroad if he was to avoid the British media.

  7. In general Forex is a lot more riskier than stock trading assuming you do enough research on the company stock that you plan to invest. However, stock trading can be as risky as Forex trading if you don’t do enough homework. There are also a lot of Forex scam out there as compared to stock. 🙂

  8. You make blogging look like a walk in the park! I’ve been trying to blog daily but I just cant find writing material.. you’re an inspiration to me and i’m sure many others!
