This will be the second "Tonight Show" song connected to Jay Leno’s tenure since his return to the show in March. Minor and his brand new song make their debut on Monday night’s broadcast.

When Johnny Carson became the host of the "Tonight Show," he asked songwriter Paul Anka to come up with a new theme. Anka did, and later said that he received $200 each night it was played on the show, according to ClassicThemes.com.

By the time Carson finally called it quits, according to the site, Anka had received about $1.6 million in royalties from the playing of the theme on-air.
