Green Day and two of the hot stars from the cast of "Glee" will be performing at a major televised awards show later this month, it’s been announced.

CBS made the announcement about its presentation of the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 13.

"Will & Grace" Emmy-winner Sean Hayes is set to host, and the casts from "Come Fly Away" and "Promises, Promises" (which stars Hayes)  are also set to perform. The Green Day connection is that its musical, "American Idiot," now playing on Broadway, has been nominated for Best Musical.

Among the stars who will be handing out the awards are Antonio Banderas, Cate Blanchett, Michael Douglas, Scarlett Johansson, Laura Linney, Lucy Liu, Helen Mirren, Chris Noth, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce and Raquel Welch.
