HBO has given the greenlight to an original movie starting Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman  and produced by James Gandolfini, reports Deadline.com.

The project, "Hemingway & Gellhorn,"  will star Owen as Hemingway and Kidman as the war correspondent Martha Gellhorn whom Hemingway marries.

The project has been six years in the making and originally was slated to star Gandolfini, the reports says. The original movie will track Hemingway in 1936 when he met Gellhorn, who was also a novelist, in a Key West bar. Their five-year marriage was tumultuous and took them to Spain during the Spanish Civil War.

Filming will begin next year in Northern California, with Philip Kaufman directing, the story says. The script is written by Barbara Turner and Jerry Stahl.

  1. A lot fo A-List Talent acting and directing on this one. Hope it is as good as the talent.

  2. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  3. I love the way you write and also the theme on your blog. Did you code this yourself or was it done by a professional? I’m very very impressed.
