Two-Time Oscar Winning Actor in Talks With Both HBO AND Showtime About Series

A two-time Oscar-winning actor is in talks with Showtime as well as HBO to star in his own TV series, reports New York magazine.

The star is Kevin Spacey, who made a memorable TV appearance in the ’90s on "Wiseguy." The  project he has in mind is called "The Crux," in which he’d play the leader of a cult, the article says.

Rod Lurie, known for ABC’s "Commander in Chief," is working on the pilot. Spacey’s only
problem with doing TV could be his very busy schedule, including his role as artistic director at the Old Vic Theater in London.
