CBS’s reality hit "Big Brother" was a Nielsen ratings winner Thursday night, beating the first half of the season finale for Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance," according to TVbytheNumbers.com.

At 8 p.m. "Big Brother" scored a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic, while "So You Think You Can Dance" trailed with a 2.2 in the demo.

At 9 p.m. the second hour of "Dance" jumped up to a 2.7 rating in the 18-49 demo, up against mostly reruns. An original episode of ABC’s "Rookie Blue" collected a 1.7 rating.

ABC’s season finale of "Boston Med" at 10 p.m. earned a 1.2 in the 18-49 demographic.
