Carol Mendelsohn’s CBS TV Studios-based production company has tapped WME literary agent Julie Weitz as president, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com

Weitz has worked at WME and Endeavor for the last six years, moving to Endeavor in 2004 when the agency started a movies-for-television unit, which Weitz ran. Before that, she worked for TNT as executive vice president of original programming, the story says.

  1. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
