An actress who has won three Emmys and two Golden Globes for her work on TV, and who is a favorite of critics and audiences alike, says she does not watch TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress is Edie Falco, of "The Sopranos” fame, now protraying "Nurse Jackie" for Showtime.
Here’s an interesting question posed to Falco by THR, and her surprising response:
THR: Former "Sopranos" producer Matt Weiner has garnered a tremendous following for his show "Mad Men." Are you a fan of the series?
Falco: I’m embarrassed to admit that I have never seen it. I’ve actually spoken to Matt a couple of times congratulating him on the success and I’ve been embarrassed to tell him that I haven’t seen the damn show. I don’t ever watch television. I’m just not a television person, and it’s crazy because I work in TV!
Asked, inevitably, about the possibilities of a "Sopranos" movie, Falco said she doubts it’ll happen, but if it does she’d be pleased to be in it.
Kudos to you! This is a really good blog here and I love your style of writing. How did you get so good at blogging?
