Not all bands want to have their music used on Fox’s hit "Glee," reports U.K. music magazine NME.
For example, one band that turned the idea down was Kings of Leon. The band said the reason is that if they had accepted the offer they would have been "selling out."
The band also says it got an offer to appear in an episode of "Ugly Betty," which it also rejected. "They wanted us to play ourselves. We were supposed to come in and help her out with some problem or other," bassist Jared Followill said, according to the artcle. "We could have sold out so much more. We turn stuff down constantly."
