Paris Hilton was arrested late Friday in Las Vegas on suspicion of felony cocaine possession, reports the New York Times.
The heiress and star of reality shows such as "The Simple Life" was arrested after a small container of cocaine allegedly dropped out of her purse in front of a police officer, the story says. Hilton was pulled over by the officer after he allegedly smelled marijuana smoke coming from the car, the article says. After being released on her own recognizance, she wrote on Twitter that she was watching "Family Guy" on television.
According to TMZ.com, Hilton has been saying she’s not worried about the charge and doesn’t think it’s a big deal.
Hilton had been arrested earlier this year in South Africa on suspicion of marijuana possession, but the charges were dropped, the New York Times story says.
