Spielberg, ‘Star Trek’ Team Readying Comic Book-Based TV Series; Stephen King’s Son Also Involved in Project

Steven Spielberg and "Star Trek" producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are working on a new TV show based on a supernatural comic book series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Novelist Joe Hill, who is Stephen King’s son, has joined with the producers to set up the adaptation of Hill’s “Locke & Key” comics at Fox TV.

Spielberg, Kurtzman and Orci collaborated before, on the film “Eagle Eye.” Kurtzman and Orci are also behind the new CBS revival of “Hawaii Five-0.”
