A former syndication star who left his high-profile TV hosting job two years ago amid a voicemail scandal has decided to return to sports, his original beat, reports TV Squad.

Pat O’Brien, who exited his job as host of "The Insider" after voicemails surfaced in which he appeared to be trying to arrange group sex, is headed to the Fox Sports radio show "Loose Cannons."

In a comment to the New York Post, O’Brien was optimistic. "It’s going to be fun,” he said. “A day doesn’t go by when someone doesn’t ask, ‘When are you going back to sports?’ This feels like going back home."
