In a move that sci-fi fans have been clamoring for, the actress who played the original villainess on NBC’s "V" will appear on ABC’s "V," reports TV Guide.

Jane Badler will again play a character named Diana, and this time she will be Anna’s mother, the story reports.

The relationship between mother and daughter is strained, according to Scott Rosenbaum, the executive producer. Diana is being imprisoned by Anna on the mother ship.

ABC’s "V" returns for a second season in November.
