With the massive shakeup predicted for Fox’s "American Idol," a name from the past has emerged as a possible returning judge for the show, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Former ‘Idol’ judge Paula Abdul twitted a quote from Winston Churchill the other night that some suspect is an allusion to her status with "American Idol."

She quoted Churchill saying, "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on."

Nigel Lythgoe, who we reported earlier is returning to "Idol" as executive producer, has said in the past that he would like Abdul back as a judge.
