Ben Silverman has sold a comedy script to his former employer, NBC, reports James Hibberd in the Hollywood Reporter.

The script, "Party People," is about entertainers who work at children’s parties, the story says. Silverman is executive producing the project through Electus, his IAC-backed company. David Bickel of "King of Queens" will write and executive produce, the story adds.

The article notes, "Silverman has been getting back in the producing game lately, having recently teamed with "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara to sell a project to ABC based on the Spanish-language series "Aqui No Hay Quien Viva" ("I Hate This Place").
