A CBS Radio News correspondent and his wife were arrested on marijuana charges Saturday in Washington, according to the Huffington Post.

Howard Arenstein, the radio bureau manager for CBS News in D.C., was in his home in Washington when the police arrested him and his wife for possession with intent to distribute marijuana based on plants the police allegedly found growing in their back yard.

Police had received complaints and ordered a search warrant before reportedly finding the drugs, according to the story.

  1. What a joke. “intent to distribute”? It truly shows the insanity of the drug war. It’s a PLANT and now people’s lives are going to be ruined. But the state gets to make their money don’t they?

  2. Well, not in California, if we have people who vote the right way in this coming election.

  3. Yep, amazing. All the problems in the world and they are worried about pot. Give me a break, I hope you Cali voters turn out in big numbers and get this country started on a new track.
It’s not the stoners you should be worried about, it’s the drunks!

  4. THE WORLD IS NOW A SAFER PLACE!!!!
