Spin-off–Literally–of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Set to Debut in November

ABC and the producers behind "Dancing With the Stars," BBC Worldwide Productions, have announced that the highly anticipated spin-off of the show will debut in November.

That’s when  "Skating With the Stars" comes to America." Similar to the format for "Dancing With the Stars," "Skating" will pair celebrities with professional ice skaters in a judged competition. The all-star cast of skating celebrities will be announced Nov. 2 during the "Dancing With the Stars" results show.

The premiere of “Skating with the Stars” will be a live broadcast on Monday, Nov. 22, at 9 p.m. ET. The series will have an initial run of six episodes.

  2. If you have ever watched professional figure skating beyond the top five or six, you know that this is a carwreck in the making. People who do this for their whole life aren’t that great once you get past the top ten.

  3. They already had this show a few years ago. Does no one remember the agony?
