The Los Angeles Times points out that CBS won the fifth straight week of the television season, an impressive feat given the challenge from sports broadcasts such as the Vikings-Packers game on NBC.
The "NBC Sunday Night Football" game rated as the No. 1 program in viewers, with 25.7 million people tuning in, as well as with adults between the ages of 18 and 49, the story says. But CBS’s mix of crime shows, comedies and reality shows gave it an overall average for the week of 11.5 million viewers, followed by ABC with 8.9 million viewers. NBC and Fox drew 8.5 million and 7.5 million viewers, respectively, the story adds.
