“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy is already delving into the soundtrack of a cult musical for next week’s episode of the hit Fox show, and now MTV is reporting that he may remake the movie for the big screen.

The movie is “The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Murphy is reportedly talking with Fox 2000 about doing a remake of the 1975 movie, which starred Susan Sarandon, Meat Loaf and Tim Curry.

"’The Rocky Horror Picture Show,’ which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, focuses on a newly engaged couple who end up at the castle of the striking Dr. Frank-N-Furter. From there, sexy, creepy musical hijinks ensue.” the story says.

Next week’s “Rocky Horror Picture Show” episode of “Glee,” titled “Time Warp,” could be a preview of Murphy’s big-screen version, the story says.

Fox Movie Channel is running a marathon of the 1975 musical on Halloween, the story adds.
