Kentucky Derby Re-Ups With NBC Through 2015

The Kentucky Derby has renewed its deal with NBC Sports to keep the broadcast from Churchill Downs on the Peacock through 2015, reports SportsNewser.

Included in the deal are the rights to the Kentucky Oaks, which is held the Friday before the Derby.

The Kentucky Derby is America’s oldest continuously held major sporting event. The next race, which will be the 137th "Run for the Roses," will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011.
