Good news came in threes for NBC’s freshman lot of television programs, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Showtracker blog.
The network picked up second seasons of "The Event", "Law & Order: Los Angeles" and "Outsourced," the story says.
"The Event" stars Jason Ritter as a young man who investigates the abduction of his fiancee and uncovers a government secret that involves aliens (the extra-terrestrial kind.) "Outsourced" is a comedy that takes place in an Indian call center for a American novelty-catalog company, while "Law & Order: Los Angeles" is the latest spinoff of the recently canceled crime drama.
Second seasons? Don’t you mean a back nine? I think a second season is a bit premature at this point.
WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD ANYONE ONE GO TO NBC?????
