There’s marriage news afoot for stars of the former NBC hit "Friends." Courteney Cox, who currently stars in "Cougar Town," has separated from David Arquette after 11 years of marriage, according to TMZ.com. 

The couple issued a statement saying that they "have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage."

In the meantime, another "Friends" star has marriage news, reports EW.com. David Schwimmer quietly married British photographer Zoe Buckman in June, the story says. The pair were married in a small private ceremony, it adds.
