Kelly Ripa, co-host of the syndicated morning show “Live With Regis & Kelly,” is getting back into the sitcom game, Deadline.com reports.

Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos, who met while acting on the soap "All My Children," have been tapped for a new comedy by ABC, the story reports.

ABC Studios will house the show, called "Port Love," with Ripa and Consuelos involved in the writing and producing.

Ripa has previous sitcom experience from her three-year run on ABC’s "Hope & Faith." She will do the new project while continuing to host "Live With Regis & Kelly" with Regis Philbin.
