Rob Schneider and producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum have sold a half-hour comedy project to CBS, marking Schneider’s first TV gig in 13 years, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.
The untitled project, which will be written by Schneider and Lew Morton of "Saturday Night Live," will be based on the actor’s life and focus on a man who marries into a large Mexican-American family, the story says.
Schneider’s last big TV job was as a star of "Men Behaving Badly," which ran on NBC from 1996-97, the story notes.
