Internet sensation Susan Boyle has canceled an appearance that was scheduled for this week on “Dancing With the Stars,” the Web site Extra reported.

The singing star who rose to fame last year on “Britain’s Got Talent” and YouTube reportedly has a severe throat infection and is unable to fly to the U.S. from her home in Scotland to appear on the show.

Boyle reportedly left in tears last month at a taping of “America’s Got Talent” after it was learned the show couldn’t get the rights to the Lou Reed song “Perfect Day,” which Boyle had practiced and flown from the U.K. to perform.

She has appeared on “Dancing With the Stars” before, singing her signature song “I Dreamed a Dream.”
