An iconic comic star of movies and TV shows, who became famous on “Taxi” and went on to appear in features such as "Back to the Future" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?," will make a guest appearance on the Fox sci-fi series "Fringe," reports TV Guide.

Christopher Lloyd, who won two of his three Emmys playing Jim on the hit comedy “Taxi” in the early 1980s, will play Walter’s (John Noble) music hero, someone whom Walter has always idolized.

Noble told the publication, "It’s a beautiful role and such good casting. … Christopher Lloyd exceeds my expectations!"

Lloyd’s episode will air later this year.
