Peacock Productions executive Sharon Scott talks in an NBC Universal video about the company’s plans for the Weather Channel, which include a 13-part series about a "crazy" landscape photographer, reports the Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed blog.

"And I say ‘crazy’ in a really, really wonderful way," Scott says. The Weather Channel will reduce the amount of live weather on the network, as Scott points out that viewers use iPads and other devices to check the weather. Instead, weather will be placed on a scroll during weather-related reality programming, the story says.

  2. exactly. these channels are a disgrace anymore!

  3. Sad to see them lose their way in their own snow storm. Live coverage of weather is fascinating and they did it better than anyone… Watch ratings tumble…
