‘Dancing’ Tops Tuesday Ratings Amid Reruns and Election Results

Tuesday night was an easy win in the ratings for ABC’s "Dancing With the Stars" results show amid mostly reruns and election coverage, according to TVbytheNumbers.com.

At 8 p.m. "Dancing" was ahead of NBC’s "The Biggest Loser," with an average rating of 2.8 to an average of 2.55 in the 18-49 demographic for the hour. CW’s "One Tree Hill" had a 1.0 for the hour.

At 9 p.m. "Dancing’s" final half-hour had a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Election coverage on NBC and Fox had a 1.95 average and a 0.95 average, respectively, in the 18-49 demo for the hour. CW’s "Life Unexpected" averaged a 0.85 in the 18-49 demo for the hour. ABC’s election coverage at 9:30 p.m. earned a 2.2 rating in 18-49.

For the 10 p.m. hour NBC had the top-rated election coverage with a 1.7 rating, better than ABC’s average 1.45 and CBS’s 1.3 average, all in the 18-49 demographic.
