One of Disney’s top film, television and recording stars has checked into rehab, a move that was reportedly triggered by a fight with one of the dancers on her current concert tour, People magazine reports.
Demi Lovato, the star of Disney’s "Camp Rock" movies and the Disney Channel sitcom "Sonny With a Chance," has abandoned her concert tour and voluntarily entered a treatment center, according to reports. Lovato, 18, is suffering with what her representative called "emotional and physical issues," the AP reported.
A source close to Lovato’s family said that Lovato has had an eating disorder and has struggled with cutting herself. A statement from Lovato’s reps explained, "Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. Demi and her family ask that the media respect her privacy during this difficult time."
