Former ‘Idol’ Judge Working on Memoirs

A former judge on “American Idol” plans to make the most of her experience as a judge on the Fox show by writing a book about what happened, reports RadarOnline.com.

The tome from Kara DioGuardi is set to be released in 2011 with the title "A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love, And American Idol."

DioGuardi, who left “Idol” after season 10 amid questions about whether it was her idea or exec producer Nigel Lythgoe’s, said the book "is meant to inspire others to take chances to succeed." But the word is she will have plenty to say about the people with whom she worked, in particular Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
