The team that reinvented "Pirates of the Caribbean," director Gore Verbinski and actor Johnny Depp, is reportedly collaborating on turning one of TV’s iconic characters, "The Lone Ranger," into a big-screen feature, reports Deadline.com.
Not surprising, uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer is behind the project, with Depp taking on the role of the Lone Ranger’s sidekick, Tonto. No word yet on who will play the title character, a role made famous by Clayton Moore.
