ABC has closed a deal for a single-camera comedy starring Nicole Richie, Deadline.com reports.

It’s the network’s second attempt at a show starring Richie, after last development season’s comedy vehicle with Richie starring as a professional woman who’s also a mom, the story notes. On the current deal, Jamie Tarses’ Fanfare and Sony TV are returning as producers on the project, which has a script commitment.
