Obama on ‘Mythbusters’

Nov 23, 2010  •  Post A Comment

What Obama is referring to is an historical incident wherein Archimedes used light from the sun reflected onto a ship, causing it to burst into flames. This allegedly happened in 214-212 BC. The odd thing here is that “Mythbusters” already investigated this once, back in 2006, and, for various reasons, declared the story “busted.”

  1. And will Mr. Obama also be appearing on “Pants-off Dance-off?” What about a White House BBQ with Guy Fieri? I am sure Americans are very proud and will continue to be inspired by our President’s embracing of basic cable fare.

  2. The president had the Mythbusters guys over — along with many other educators — to encourage more science education in the U.S. That’s something that was sorely lacking during the previous administration with its eight years of science denial as an official policy.

  3. Genial brief and this enter helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you as your information.

  4. Basic cable is the world we live in, and has been for nearly 30 years. More to the point: this is a pretty clever show. Would it be less embarrassing for you if he appeared on the mind-numbingly trivial “American idol?”

  5. I am very proud of my president as an American I feel it is the right thing to do unless of course you are a republican and have an uptight lying cheating president. Embrase the fact he is a good person not a fake.
    Happy Thanksgiving.
