In anticipation of the network’s Jan. 1, 2011, launch, OWN–the Oprah Winfrey Network–has added two reality series based on celebrity families, reports Deadline.com.
“The Judds” will star country singers Naomi and Wynonna Judd, while "Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals" will focus on the movie star father and daughter.
In the former, the Judds will be prepping for a nationwide tour, their first in a decade. In the latter, Ryan and Tatum will try to mend their troubled relationship, which has been strained since Tatum was a little girl.
Meanwhile, ABC will air a prime-time Thanksgiving special starring Beyonce, the AP reports. It will be the second year in a row that the network will run a Turkey Day special featuring the singer. “Beyonce’s I Am … World Tour” is set to air Nov. 25 at 9:30 p.m. ET. Kanye West and Beyonce’s husband, Jay-Z, are set to make guest appearances.
