Ryan Seacrest Signs New Deal Reportedly Worth $60 Million

Ryan Seacrest has expanded his deal with Clear Channel Communications, according to a number of media outlets.

The New York Times reports that the new deal extends Seacrest’s contract for three years and is worth $60 million.

According to the Times, Seacrest, 35,  "has signed on to give Clear Channel more of his time…agreeing to develop new radio content for syndication via both traditional and digital media. Leveraging radio programming for the Web has been an increasing focus for both Mr. Seacrest and for Clear Channel. Mr. Seacrest will also create a joint venture with the company to explore the creation of a record label, music publishing business and live concert series, according to the people with knowledge of its details, who spoke on the condition of anonymity."

The article notes that currently Seacrest hosts "three top-rated radio programs for Clear Channel…hosts ‘American Idol’ for Fox, appears on a daily news program on E! and produces reality shows like ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’ ”
